We thought its gliding motion was strong and smooth, even as it sped up. The seat has a lot of space and two different ways to lie down, but there wasn’t much difference between them. Putting this together took some work and time, and it’s a big box that doesn’t fold up. People who don’t have a lot of room should know that this choice takes up space. Quality

The Graco Glider LX Swing is a product that is of decent quality when compared to the best baby swings, however, it is not anything that stands out from it. When it moves, you’ll hear the motor. The seat is wide and deep. There are two different recline positions available on the seat, but we did not find that there was much of a difference between them. The Glider LX’s toy mobile was much more stable and easy to remove than those of its competitors; our small tester had fun reaching out to play with the plush toys.

We wish the 5-point harness had been made with more care and thought. The parts feel cheap, especially the fragile plastic buckle, and the strap webbing on the crotch or shoulder straps isn’t padded or covered in fabric. This is something that some of the competitors offer, and it is an additional nod to the comfort of the baby. Because of this, you should be careful when buckling your baby in so that you don’t pinch their skin by accident.

You might try this glider-style swing if you’ve tried traditional swinging motions without success in calming your fussy baby. When you rock the baby back and forth in a glider chair, the motion is like cuddling with your baby. Your child may be used to this motion and find it comforting.

It’s also not easy to fold up or take apart for storage. This swing is more likely to stay where it is until you no longer need it.

Assembly

It took some work to put together the Graco Glider LX Swing. Putting together this swing isn’t the easiest thing ever, but it’s also not the hardest. There are several steps and parts to it, such as setting up some hardware.

Something like a screwdriver is something you should have on hand. We had to look closely at the pictures to figure out how to put some of the pieces together and how to line them up. It took at least 20 minutes to finish the whole thing.

You might want to consider another option if you are looking for a traditional baby swing or if you have a restricted amount of space. It’s sturdy, but it’s also big, and it’s not a swing that can be folded up and put away. But the Graco Glider LX may be the right swing for you if you want one that glides and lasts longer.
